TL Industries currently has one Amistar Model C1 3000-1 Integrated Circuit Inserter System.
This machine inserts integrated circuit components at a rate of up to 3,200 components per hour. The types of components that can be placed by this machine, provided the proper insertion head is installed, are:
2 pin DIPs
0.30 DIPs and sockets (6-28 leads)
0.40 DIPs and sockets (22 and 24 leads)
0.60 DIPs and sockets (24 and 40 leads)
0.30 and 0.60 socket brickwalling
The machine can be programmed for inward or outward clinch, can automatically check for lead insertion (optional) and allows for automatic repair. The machine’s insertion area is 18” x 18”.
