Full Description
The RINO is perfect for
backpacking, skiing, hunting, fishing, mountaineering, or urbanite tourism;
with its "Peer-to-Peer" position system that allows one Rino user to track the
location of another Rino user. This enables you to keep track of your
partner's location through the Rino's navigation screen to help insure no one
gets lost.
The two-way radio mode
helps you stay in contact with your partners within a 2 mile radius when set
to FRS (Family Radio Services) or up to a five mile radius when the Rino is
set to GMRS (General Mobile Radio Services). With such a wide range it is
simple to communicate with your partners whether they are on the other side of
a ski resort, or at the far end of the lake.
The Rino 120's added
memory allows to accept downloaded map data from GARMIN's entire line of
MapSource® CD-ROMs, including US Topo® and US Roads and Recreation.
Mapping detail is
presented on a new high-resolution liquid crystal display (160x160 pixels). An
innovative "Click Stick" on the front allows for quick and accurate map
panning, as well as selection; enter functions and radio channel adjustment.
