Life Lynx, LLC was founded in 2004 for the purpose of developing and marketing portable, always-available and easily transmittable information storage. The initial focus was to leverage digital storage and the Internet to provide parents with a child identification tool for which there is no comparison.

A five-minute panic at a zoo was the catalyst for the idea. The founder and developer, Eric Wilms, had lost his twin daughters for what seemed like an eternity. They had wandered from him and were later found safely. Yet, it was in that moment Eric realized he was not prepared for what could have become an all-out search. He didn't know how much they weighed or how tall they were. The most recent picture he had of them was when they were babies.

As a software developer, Eric set his sites on utilizing technology to provide preparedness for himself and then relized that every parent knows the feeling he had that day! Thus Life Lynx was born to allow any parent who wants to be prepared with up-to-date information carried with them at all times. He hopes no one will ever have to use the missing child feature of the product, but from experience he knows The Life Lynx Safety Key provides some peace of mind.

In the future, look for Life Lynx to expand in other information areas requiring safe keeping and accessibility. The possibilities are tremendous.
