How to Pray

How to Pray Scripture Prayer is easy.

You have a need, find a scripture that covers that need (a promise of God), and pray that scripture back to The Father using Jesus' Name as the entrance to the Throne of God.

For example, I want to be a mother.

Psalm 113:9 says that "He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD."

I then pray to my Father in heaven saying something like…

"Heavenly Father, I thank you that you make the barren women to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. I am thankful that this is something you have promised in Your Word and that NOTHING is impossible with You. Thank you for giving me Your peace and strength to help me until this comes to pass in my life. I pray these things in Jesus' holy name. Amen."

If you can find it in the Word, and He has done it for one, He can do it for you. He is not a respecter of persons. He doesn't love any of us more than any other. It always fascinates me that He loves me that same as say the Pope or Mother Teresa, and He even loves people like Charles Manson, the same too. Crazy, huh?

OK, back on topic.

There are thousands of promises in the Word, you can apply this method to anything that is a biblical request. You wouldn't pray for say an adulterous affair...that's not scriptural...get it?

Covered topics are provision, healing, deliverance, relationships, prosperity, children, protection, peace, comfort, and so many others.

In His Name...
Robin
