An Indoor Barrier System That Effectively Keeps Pets Away from Off-limit Areas!
The Spray Barrier® System has two components: a transmitter dish that protects a radius from 2 ft. to 10 ft. and a spray device. It allows you to designate areas in your home as off-limit and allows your dog to roam free outside the protected area.
The transmitter dish should be plugged into a regular household power outlet and will generate a low-frequency signal that is picked up by the spray device as your dog approaches the dish. The spray device will first emit a warning sound to let your dog know that he has reached the boundary. Should he continue on toward the dish, the spray device will activate a harmless spray to deter him from that area.

It can protect a radius from 2 ft. to 10 ft. and can be adjusted by using the button on the transmitter. This product can be used with multiple spray collars without having to buy a new transmitter.
When to use:
You can use the Spray Barrier® in any indoor location that you want to keep your dog away from. It can be used to keep your dog out of the babies room, off of furniture, away from the kitchen table, etc. This product can be used with any breed of dog that weighs 6 lbs. or more and is at least 6 months old. If your dog is smaller or younger, please check first with your veterinarian.

for using the Spray Barrier® Indoor Barrier System:
Filling the Device:
Filling the device is similar to putting air in a tire - you shouldn't hear hissing sounds, and shouldn't be getting spray outside the unit.
It takes about 30 seconds to completely fill the device. Count to 30 slowly while holding the can firmly in place.
When full, the reservoir contains about 18 sprays. (Each Refill Can contains about 300 sprays.)
You cannot overfill the device - the pressure in the can and device will equalize.
Adjusting the Collar Strap:
The device should be positioned so that the spray is directed frontward under the jaw.
Allow 1" to 1 ˝" inches of slack in the collar - this will allow gravity to keep the unit centered under the jaw (approximately 1 to 2 fingers under the back of the collar strap).
It is not necessary for the collar to be tight - the device uses a microphone to detect sound, rather than physical vibrations.
Battery:
When installing the battery, be certain that the positive and negative ends are properly aligned. See "+" and "-" symbols inside battery compartment.
Always remove the battery when the collar is not in use in order to prolong battery life. (The microphone will be in continual "listening" mode whenever the battery is in the unit.)
Transmitter Dish:
The dish can be installed anywhere you don't want your dog to go. The AC adapter should be plugged into the dish and into a regular household outlet. Turn the dish on/off by turning the on/off switch clockwise. The red indicator light lets you know the unit is on.
To set the range you wish the unit to cover, turn the on/off switch to the right. When the switch is turned all the way to the right, the unit will be set to cover the maximum range.
Avoid placing the dish on metallic surfaces, on a table with a metal rim or near massive metallic objects (i.e., refrigerator, washing machine, dryer). Metallic objects may alter the magnetic field and change the range of the signal.
Training Tips:
While the principle behind the Spray Barrier® is fairly simple and provides quick results, any training that positively reinforces the desired behavior will enhance your efforts. A few minutes spent with your dog to identify the consequences of going in the "off limits" zone, and then rewarding him when he stays out, will greatly improve your long-term success.
