Fruit Of The Spirit



Galatians 5:22-25 NIV "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit."



The Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit. - The Spirit produces fruit in our Christian life and reminds us of Christ and our call to discipleship.



Jesus wants His followers to be filled with joy.



Peace is an inner righteousness that does not depend on outward conditions, but a relationship with God.



Gentleness is shown when the Spirit controls our temperament and we become gentle beings.



Goodness is pureness of heart and assures us of seeing God. Our motives and every action should be always right and true.



Faithfulness as stewards of God should always show us to be found faithful in every area of our life.



Meekness (humility), is a hallmark of the Spirit filled life.



The true believer does not insist on his own way nor demand attention be focused on himself, but desires to help others.



I Corinthians 13:13 "And now these three remain; faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love."
