Part of the same family that includes Palmarosa, Lemomgrass and Citronella. The Gingergrass is a tall perennial grass reaching up to 1.5 metres high. It is found in India and Sri Lanka and produces an oil which is thin and pale yellow in colour. It scent is sharp and ‘green’, with spicy undertones.
