The original myth of some ancient ancestors speaks of the warrior Children of the Sun Father, who led the People from dark caverns beneath the Earth. A sacred lightning arrow, wielded by one of the Children, protected the People upon their arrival into the light by changing threatening beasts into benevolent fetish animals.
