(1) Most of our carpets and rugs are like the carpet many people have in their home (cut pile carpet). These are the most plush, durable and stain resistant children's carpets and area rugs on the market.
(2) Some of our styles are made on carpet that is not a plush, cut pile carpet. These styles are a thinner, level loop carpet (similar to "office" carpet). These styles offer the same high quality and durability of the cut pile carpets.
All carpets are "commercial grade", fire resistant, static resistant, mold and bacteria resistant (they are treated with an antimicrobial treatment) and are treated with an industry leading stain treatment.
The Safavieh collection is wool and does not have stain treatment applied. They have not been tested for fire rating. Also, they are not specified for commercial use.
