The Compacts
Although Compact Scopes are small in stature, they’re big on ruggedness, dependability, and craftsmanship, just like the full-size models.
- The M8-2.5x20mm is ideal for turkey hunting, shotgun deer hunting, crossbow hunting, and even dangerous game It offers a generous exit pupil, expansive eye relief, and a wide field of view.
- Leupold’s M8-4x28mm Compact RF Special is specifically designed for rimfire rifles. It features a Fine Duplex reticle and is parallax adjusted for 60 yards.
- Vari-X® 2-7x28mm Compact is one of the lightest compact scopes ever made, (if weight is your main concern) at just 8.2 ounces and 9.9 inches in length. The standard is parallax adjusted for 150 yards and the RF Special is parallax adjusted to 60 yards for rimfire rifles.
- The variable power Vari-X 3-9x33mm Compact is just 11 inches in length but big on versatility, with an exceptional sight picture.
- The Vari-X 3-9x33mm EFR Compact has a close focusing distance that makes it ideal for air rifle shooting and other short range shooting.

Leupold offers two power ranges in their compact line, 3-9 and 2-7. Plenty of power in a smaller package, great on mountain rifles or youth guns. The EFR model has an adjustable objective and a larger objective lens.
