Another simple "Mandela", and this one is a true "2-fabric" design and done with reverse applique. There are a lot of inside points, so you will need to choose a very tightly woven fabric (e.g. a batik)for the one on top - the one you cut the 'holes' in and applique around (the holes). The framing circle is 8" and the finished block is whatever you choose.
