This is the first pattern in this series. I don't know what will follow, except that the names will be just one word. This one is a type of simple "Mandela" and is designed to be done with reverse applique. It has a third fabric and those pieces are done with regular applique. I think you will find that reverse applique is actually easier than 'regular'. Your piece will probably look a little different with regard to the size of that framing piece. I cut mine too small but am unwilling to redo it at this time. I will have to sew on some matching strips in order to be able to mount the sample for my usual way of displaying in the booth. oops. ^_^ The framing circle is 8" and the block is whatever size you choose.
