Q: What is StoresOnline 4.0?
A:
The StoresOnline 4.0 application allows the creation and maintenance of eCommerce enabled websites. StoresOnline 4.0 provides the following features and functions:

·Products can include innumerable variations (such as sizes, colors, etc.), and can even be set up to resolve possible variation conflicts (e.g. we do not currently offer the red shirt in size extra large, etc.). This feature offers best of breed functionality in the area of product set-up and maintenance.

·Multiple price sets allows the merchant to offer the same products at different prices for different buyers, in a password-protected environment. This feature also allows for the use of multiple currencies, and includes proper currency syntax. Multiple price sets opens a whole new world of opportunity for wholesale or international businesses.

·Contains the ability to offer a binary (downloadable) product, such as software or an eBook, making it possible for a merchant to sell any electronic product, and fulfill the order at the point of sale.

·Import and export capabilities allow the exchange of various product data, order data, and site HTML and XML. This feature greatly improves time efficiency, as it removes the need to take product data in and out of a site, one product or order at a time. Orders can also be exported for use in other applications such as Intuit QuickBooks or Microsoft Money; this allows for easier and quicker bookkeeping and tax preparation.

·Page content (such as text, images, links, headers, footers, etc.) can be easily customized and added and changed. Content changes can be made easily and the changes are automatically cascaded throughout the website.

·Customizable forms addresses merchant's specific needs. Using customized forms, merchants can set up secure, encrypted forms with improved ease to collect sensitive information from their customers. This is especially useful for service-based businesses, as these forms can be used for job, loan, or insurance applications, questionnaires, bids, quotes, and so forth.

·Captures and transacts customer orders according to the business rules and specific "back office" needs for each merchant. This functionality allows the real-time receipt and processing of orders and payments, order confirmation and reporting, and organize order fulfillment. Transactions include checks, credit cards, electronic funds transfers, purchase orders, and other forms of payments. StoresOnline currently provides this capability in conjunction with AuthorizeNet.

·Site Preview functionality allows you to view your website before publishing it onto the Internet. Site Preview displays the website as it would appear on the Internet (WYSIWYG), and then allows the merchant to commit their stores to go live on the Internet when they are completely satisfied with their store's appearance.

Q: What is the AutoResponder/Automatic Response tool?
A:
The automatic response feature allows merchants to use e-mail to respond automatically with a predefined templated message when an e-mail is received or when information is requested through a form method. Responses can also be sent out periodically, at predetermined times. Permission Marketing allows you to avoid spamming, and at the same time enjoy the power to send bulk e-mails to specific buying groups at predetermined times. These in demand tools are used to increase customer loyalty and repeat buying.

Q: What is the difference between CSB and StoresOnline?
A:
The CSB is used when you are first creating your storefront. It is the CD you receive in your Storefront Packet. StoresOnline is the online interface you will use to create and/or make changes to your site.

Q: What are Custom Files for?
A:
