Raglan sleeved chenille jacket in two styles. Multi-change chevron designs give the jacket interest and visual movement.
View A: Walking length jacket has soft turn back lapel that is chenille on both sides and slightly longer front gives vertical slimming effect. View B: Walking length jacket has kimono style textured chenille collar.
Sizes XS-XL included in pattern. Pattern measurements allow for 2" ease to compensate for chenille shrinkage with the first washing.

Each pattern contains one set of Chenille Tissue Templates. Additional templates are available for this pattern.

Suggested fabrics:
View A: The "confetti" chenille with soft lapel version of this jacket is on a sheer silk chiffon base however you may also use 100% rayon for the base layer. The chenille layers should be 100% rayon for the best results. A solid color for the chenille layers will give you the most contrast to the confetti in the sandwich. Use scraps and pieces of 100% silk hand-dyed ribbons, silk, and metallic threads for the confetti.
View B: 100% rayon for the chenille layers will give you the softest, most luxurious chenille for this jacket. Soft fabrics such as charmeuse, silky satins, and even fabrics containing polyester can be used for the BASE ONLY. One of these fabrics may also be used for the binding. Soft, loosely woven cottons may be mixed with layers of rayons for the chenille layers as well and will keep the drape soft. 100% cotton fabrics may be used for the jacket but the result will be a heavier coat with less drape. ALWAYS make sample block of any fabrics that you select!

Yardage:
View A: 2 1/2 yd of 60" Rayon or silk chiffon for base layer and 2 1/2 yd 60" 100% rayon for each of 2 chenille layers, for a total of 7 1/2 yds.
View B: 2 1/2 yd 60" 100% rayon for 1 base and 3 chenille layers, for a total of 10 yds.
