About Us

As a young girl in the 1950s Helen Mullis grew up in Rotorua City, the heart of tourism in New Zealand. Working with and watching passionately the Maori (indigenous people of New Zealand) create original bone carvings and design souvenirs and jewellery from the shells collected from the waters nearby. Time spent in the Pacific Islands over the years has encouraged Helen and her Team to now show the world the unique and magnificent array of bone carvings and Shell Jewellery from within the Pacific Region. Please enjoy this website designed by Helen and her daughters Diana and Kristin who have both recently attended University of Otago.
