Gluten Free Biscuits
Orange & Pecan Nut Biscuits
Ingredients
3
cups Bendy Bread
120g butter
1 cup raw sugar
or alternative
2 eggs
2 tblspsn
treacle(or golden syrup)
pinch of
salt(optional)
roughly grated
rind of one large orange
1/4 cup orange
juice
1 cup of chopped
pecans
Method:
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and treacle/syrup and
beat well.
Add chopped nuts and organge
rind.
Add Bread mix flour last
Mixture should end up as dough
consistency that can be rolled into shapes . If you are feeling lazy, just
drop a tspn onto a lined tray. Leave room between each bikky to spread.
Bake at 160oC for about 10mins
or until brown.
Cool on the tray to keep
biscuits crisp.
Store in an airtight container
once cool - they will last for ages successfully like this or place them in
the freezer and devour from there.
