The PowerLung Aliento was introduced to serve the needs of those who have suffered from spinal chord injury this model was specifically designed to provide the lowest possible resistance to help those with very limited breathing muscle strength have a way to learn deeper breathing as well as begin the process of conditioning or re-conditioning weak breathing muscles.

- The difference is that this model includes a very simple and easy to use adaptive feature to assist those people with impaired holding ability to use this ALIENTO unassisted and on their own.
