2.Use the glue stick to glue one set of strips to the left side of the quilted muslin square. Glue these strips starting 1" from top and 1/2" from the left edge of the quilted square.
3. Glue the ends of the second-color strips across the top edge of the quilted muslin, starting 1" from the left edge and 1/2" from the top of the quilted square.
4. Beginning with the top horizontal strip, weave the horizontal and vertical strips in an over-under pattern. Glue the end of each woven horizontal strip to the right side of the square. When you finish weaving all the strips, glue the ends of the vertical strips along the lower edge of the muslin square.
5. Turn the square over so the pre-quilted side is up. Machine stitch along each of the original zigzag rows of stitching.
6. Stitch a row between each of the original rows of stitching. The stitching rows are now approximately 3/8" apart. Turn the square over, strip-side up.
7. Using MINI OMNISTRIPS™ and a rotary cutter, cut all fabric layers except the base layer of muslin. Follow the directions on the MINI OMNISTRIPS™ package for slashing a herringbone pattern.
8. Launder the slashed square with 1 tablespoon laundry detergent (regular cycle of the washing machine). Machine dry the square (moderate heat) until completely dry. Remove and trim the square to 18-1/2" x 18-1/2': Optional: apply cording to the edge of the pillow top with a 1/4" wide seam allowance.
9. Fold muslin pieces and press to make two pieces, each 18-1/2" x 10-1/2" pieces. Lap the folded edges 1-1/2': With right sides together, sew the pieces to the chenille pillow top. Trim corners and turn. Lightly press the edges. Insert pillow form and enjoy!
